No, watercolor is not harder than oil or acrylic- its just different. There is transparent watercolor and opaque watercolor[gouache] and many interesting basic techniques. Come join us to play and learn about this interesting medium. You will learn why it is different, not harder. Materials list provided. Level: Beginner.

- Winsor-Newton Masking Fluid- and One cheap paint brush
- Watercolor Paints:Tube or pan
*a. Buy the best you can afford
- Watercolor Paper at least 140 lb and 9x12
- Hot press [smooth], cold press [some texture] or rough
- Cotman or Princeton brushes small, med, large.—
- Hake or other wash brush at least 1 ½”
- Round, Bright, Flat, rigger, script , angled, filbert
- Palette—paper plates or Plastic tray
- Mr. clean original sponge
- Very fine sand paper
- cotton balls & Q-tips
- Tracing paper
- transfer paper
- kneaded eraser
- masking tape-tan
- cardboard etc. Larger than W/c paper size [if needed]
- scissors
- 2 cups
